The nose leads with dark chocolate and roasted barley, layered beneath a pronounced coffee character that suggests espresso grounds and cocoa powder. Subtle notes of dried plum and fig emerge in the background, while the 9.5% ABV adds a gentle warmth without sharp volatility. The overall impression is restrained and complex—earthy roast balanced by fruit depth.

◐ Geschmack

The palate enters with rich, smooth chocolate and coffee notes that coat the mouth with a creamy, full-bodied presence. Mid-palate reveals dark fruit character—plum and raisin—alongside moderate bittering from roasted malts and noble hops. The 65 IBU provides structure without harshness, allowing sweetness from the residual extract to balance the dryness of the roast, finishing with a toasty, slightly grainy undertone.
