Voodoo Gran Met pours a deep, opaque black with ruby highlights at the edges when held to light. A dense, rich tan head forms and persists admirably, indicating excellent carbonation and malt character. The beer presents with the visual gravitas expected of a world-class imperial stout.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with roasted espresso and dark chocolate, immediately establishing the beer's sophisticated depth. Underlying notes of dried fruit and molasses provide sweetness, while a subtle warming alcohol presence hints at the beer's 11% ABV without being obtrusive. The aromatic profile is complex and inviting, drawing you deeper into the glass.

The palate is full-bodied and richly malty, opening with decadent dark chocolate and espresso notes that dominate the mid-palate. The 55 IBUs provide balanced bitterness that prevents excessive sweetness, while molasses and dark fruit notes add complexity and depth. The alcohol warmth integrates seamlessly, contributing to the overall richness without harshness.
