Hockley Gold presents a pale golden hue with excellent clarity and bright transparency. A fine, persistent white head forms on pour and clings to the glass in delicate lacing as the beer is consumed. Carbonation is lively and even throughout.

◌ Aroma

The nose is gentle and inviting, with soft noble hop character balanced by clean, light Malz notes. Subtle floral and herbal overtones emerge, with a whisper of citrus brightness that suggests restraint rather than assertion. No phenolic or sulfury notes; the fermentation profile remains neutral and clean.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is light and refreshing, with a crisp, clean palate that speaks to careful brewing and soft water character. Mid-palate develops gentle hop bitterness (20 IBU) that never overwhelms, while a touch of residual sweetness provides balance and drinkability. The finish is bone-dry and smooth, with no harsh edges.

The finish is short and clean, leaving the palate refreshed and ready for the next sip. No lingering astringency or cloying sweetness; the aftertaste is simply dry and pleasant.
