Kneitinger hits differently from glass one. Paler, crisper pour, and the nose has this mineral, almost herbal quality that Andechs keeps hidden. The palate is drier—you feel the 18 IBU more, a taut bitterness that cuts through the malt sweetness rather than blending with it.
