Einbecker Pils

Einbecker hits you first with crisp, almost piney hop character—nothing soft about it. There's a mineral, slightly grassy quality that makes your mouth feel clean and slightly dry, like biting into a lemon peel. The malt backbone is there (you taste some bread crust, subtle honey), but it's clearly playing support to the hops. Finishes with a peppery, lingering bitterness that makes you want another sip.

Rostocker Pils

Rostocker is smoother on arrival—the hops are there but they're woven in more gently, almost floral rather than sharp. You get more of the grain, a subtle sweetness that feels more prominent than in Einbecker. It's got elegance, a kind of restraint. The bitterness is present but rounded; it fades cleanly without demanding your attention. Feels like a beer designed for easy drinking without sacrificing character.
