Cristal is almost blank-slate clean—I mean that as a compliment. There's a faint mineral edge on the finish that keeps it from feeling watery, even at 5%. It's the kind of beer that disappears in summer heat.

Ocean State Lager

Ocean State has a bit more backbone. I pick up a slightly fuller malt presence, almost like someone left the grain in the mash tun five minutes longer. It's still bone-dry and clean, but there's a subtle sweetness lurking underneath that makes it feel more intentional, less like a blank canvas. The finish is crisp but friendlier—it invites another sip.
