Pale straw, almost lighter than you remember. The nose is quiet — fresh grain, barely any hops, nothing that reaches out at you. The sip itself is the whole point: perfectly clean, dry, the kind of lager that defines the word refreshing rather than just using it. Very light sweetness fades to a crisp, dry finish with just enough bitterness to ask for another round. Deceptively simple, very hard to replicate.

There's just a little more on the nose — a faint herbal quality, almost grass-like from the Hallertau hops, and a mineral undertone that speaks to the Bavarian Alpine water. The malt is clean but with a slightly richer grain character than Augustiner. The finish has more to say: drier than Paulaner but with a distinct herby aftertaste that lingers pleasantly. It rewards attention without demanding it. The kind of beer that makes you notice it without calling attention to itself.
