Dutch Bargain began in 2011 with three brewers - Marc Menue, Stijn Jordans and Thibo Baccarne - and grew out of a café-restaurant brewery in Groede, Zeeland. When that space burst at its seams, the team moved into the village's old municipal school, now home to Dutch Bargain and Marckensteijn. A Dutch Bargain is a deal struck over drinks in which one side comes out ahead, so anyone holding one of these beers has won. The Classics range from Zeeuws Blond and Zuidwester to Coastal IPA and Woest, and the Brouwerslokaal taproom is open seven days a week with thirty taps.
