◎ Aussehen

Deep black with no light penetration, the beer presents a dense, tight crema that clings to the glass in fine rings of lacing. Clarity is excellent despite the dark roasted malts; the liquid holds a lustrous sheen under light. Carbonation is moderate and even, characteristic of a well-conditioned lager.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with roasted grain and dark chocolate, grounded by a quiet coffee note that never shouts. Beneath lies a subtle earthiness from the water and malt—no adjuncts, no artifice. The aroma sits invitingly low, inviting the drinker closer without aggression.

◐ Geschmack

The palate enters smooth and approachable, with roasted character building through the mid-palate into cocoa and toast. Bitterness arrives measured at 25 IBU—just enough to define the finish without harshness. The mouthfeel is clean and light despite the color, a hallmark of restraint in the grain bill.

The finish is dry and crisp, allowing the roasted notes to linger briefly before fading to a clean palate. Aftertaste is short but pleasant, leaving no heaviness behind.
