Deep mahogany to dark brown, with excellent clarity and a dense, tan head that clings to the glass with persistent lacing. Carbonation is moderate and well-integrated, supporting a rich, almost velvety visual presence characteristic of the style.

◌ Aroma

Assertive roasted malt dominates the nose, layered with dark fruit esters—plum and raisin—and milk chocolate undertones. The roast carries warmth without harshness, and a subtle alcohol note emerges as the beer opens, inviting deeper inhalation.

◐ Geschmack

Rich and full-bodied on entry, with roasted character and dark fruit sweetness meeting in the mid-palate. Cocoa and caramel notes develop alongside the malt backbone, while modest bitterness (22 IBU) provides balance without challenging the generous sweetness. The finish carries lingering roast and chocolate.

◑ Abgang

The aftertaste is long and warming, with roasted malt and dark chocolate persisting gently. Alcohol presence is noticeable but smooth, leaving a slight drying quality that prevents cloying.
