Jet-black pour with a tight tan head that clings to the glass in fine lacing. The beer is brilliantly clear despite its dark color, revealing no haze or suspended matter. Carbonation is gentle and persistent, befitting a lager of measured restraint.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with light roasted malt—cocoa powder and dark chocolate emerge first, followed by a whisper of smoke that never turns ashy or harsh. No aggressive hop character intrudes; instead, a clean, slightly grainy backdrop supports the roasted notes. The overall impression is one of balance and restraint.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is clean and dry, with roasted chocolate flavors building smoothly across the mid-palate without heaviness. Bitterness integrates naturally at around 25 IBU, providing structure rather than dominance. The finish turns crisp and refreshing, with a light toasty note lingering as the beer dries completely.

Medium-short and completely dry, with the roasted malt character fading to a clean, slightly grainy dryness. Sessionable without sacrificing character, leaving no cloying residue on the palate.
