Head High presents a straw-gold hue with excellent clarity and bright, luminous character. A thick, creamy white head forms with immediate pour and clings to the glass with persistent lacing. Fine carbonation creates a lively, effervescent visual presence.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with bold, assertive grapefruit and citrus notes from the five Pacific Northwest hop varieties—Cascade and Centennial contribute bright citric top notes while Simcoe adds pine and resinous undertones. A light, grainy malt sweetness provides a clean, balanced foundation without dominating the aromatic profile.

Entry is crisp and clean, with citrus and orange character carrying forward from the aroma. The mid-palate balances a lightly sweet malt backbone against a building, firm bitterness that builds steadily without harshness, driven by Columbus and Amarillo's dry, peppery contributions. The palate finishes dry with lingering citric bite.

The finish is long, crisp, and decisively dry, with the bitterness and citrus persistence extending cleanly through the aftertaste. No cloying sweetness remains—only a refreshing, herbal dryness.
