◎ Appearance

Bodem presents a bright golden hue with excellent clarity and a fine white head that dissipates to a thin lacing. Active carbonation is evident, creating a crisp visual presentation typical of well-crafted American IPAs.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with assertive resinous pine and grapefruit citrus from the Simcoe and Centennial hop blend, complemented by subtle floral and herbal notes. There's a clean malt base underneath without any yeast character, allowing the hop aromatics to command attention.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with bright citrus and bold hoppy bitterness that's well-integrated rather than aggressive. Mid-palate reveals tropical fruit undertones and a subtle grainy maltiness that provides backbone, while the assertive 65 IBU bitterness builds into a dry, crisp finish.

◑ Finish

Bodem finishes dry and clean with lingering resinous pine and grapefruit notes that fade gracefully. The assertive bitterness persists pleasantly without becoming harsh, leaving no cloying sweetness.
